So, chances are, I will be riding/presenting elephants in Cole Bros. Circus this summer! I'm so excited I just spilled coffee on myself. I'm also supposed to be studying for exams. Which I will get back to. Shortly. Being an elephant empress (yes, that is what they are sometimes called) has been on my "life goals" list since I was 7. I kid you not. When Eli, Erin, Brittany and I made a circus in my backyard, we covered the playschool push-car with a gray sheet and made ears and a nose out of construction paper and I rode it while Eli and Erin pushed it. (Side Note: I'm sitting at Logan's desk in his old room and I found a big long nail but I don't want to touch it because I know it's been up his nose.) I could also go into a long explanation about how the sideshow last summer and the circus this coming summer is probably the closest anyone will ever get to actually running away with the Doctor and his TARDIS but I'll save that for another time. (Seriously, obsessed) I had to fill out my own life insurance policy this week. I feel like such a grown-up! Ha. The phone-interview part was only supposed to be a 30 minute call... mine was an hour and a half because my medical history is so... involved. It was absurd. I also had to tell a white lie about my employment (circus performer isn't really the safest job) so that I could lock in a lower premium. Oh well. ALSO, today I learned that one of the kids I graduated with recently starred in the movie Project X and is now working on another major Hollywood film. Also, my junior high crush just got drafted into the NFL. So basically, I need to step-the-fuck-up and do something interesting/exciting/important with my life. lol Alright, I suppose that's enough procrastinating now... plus Josh just brought me coffee and popcorn so now I HAVE to work. Goodnight anyone who somehow happens to read this. Go find less obscure corners of the internet now. :P |
